The production process of QLED square displays

The complete production process of a QLED backlit display can be divided into three core stages:

1. Panel manufacturing → 2. Backlight module manufacturing → 3. Module and complete unit assembly.

Phase One: TFT LCD Panel Manufacturing

  1. TFT array manufacturing

2. LCD cell molding

3. Polarizing film attachment

Phase Two: Quantum Dot Backlight Module Manufacturing

This is the core of QLED displays, determining their outstanding color performance.

1. Quantum Dot Material Preparation

2. Backlight module assembly

Phase 3: Module and Complete Machine Assembly

Integrate the various pre-manufactured components into a complete display.

1. Attach the panel and backlight module.

• The TFT LCD panel, manufactured in the first stage, is precisely bonded to the backlight module in the second stage.

Now, a "display module" capable of displaying images is complete.

2. Driver Circuit and Chip Installation

· The printed circuit board, timing controller, power management chip, etc., are connected to the display module via flexible circuitry.

These are the "nerve center" of the display, responsible for receiving signals and controlling the switching of each pixel.

3. Structural Components and Housing Assembly

· Install metal or plastic mid-frame, front frame, and rear housing to provide robust protection and support for delicate internal components.

4. Final Testing and Aging

· Power-on Test: After powering on, use automated optical inspection equipment to check for bright spots, dark spots, line defects,

color uniformity, and other issues.

• Aging test: The monitor is operated continuously in a specific mode for a period of time to screen out products that fail early and ensure factory stability.

• Color calibration: For high-end models, factory color calibration will be performed to ensure that their color accuracy meets the standards.

5. Packaging and Warehousing

Monitors that pass all tests will be cleaned, labeled, and packed into boxes along with accessories (stands, power cords, etc.)

 for shipment worldwide.

The entire process involves multiple high-tech fields such as precision chemistry, semiconductor technology, optics, automated

machinery, and electronic engineering. It is a complex manufacturing marvel completed in a highly automated cleanroom.
