Treadmill panel failure causes and solutions

  Treadmill is a common fitness equipment, it has the advantages of simple and easy operation, practicality and so on, and is loved by consumers. However, sometimes in use there will be a failure of the treadmill panel, resulting in us not being able to use the treadmill normally.

  The usual inspection sequence and solution are as follows:

1. Power supply problem: Reconnect the power supply and ensure that the power cable is correctly connected and smooth, pay special attention to the panel cushion must be plugged in.

(1) Poor power contact/power line short circuit, tripping: the treadmill panel needs to be powered by the power supply, if the power connection is poor or the power line is short circuit and other problems may lead to the treadmill panel failure. Running machine power supply may usher in short circuit, tripping and other faults, resulting in the screen can not be lit. Therefore, first check the power supply of the treadmill to ensure that the power supply is in the "ON" position.

(2) Line damage and breakage: the line of the treadmill panel is connected with other components, so the damage or breakage of the line may lead to the failure of the panel. The power cable needs to be replaced.

(3) Panel cushion is not inserted: Modern treadmills usually have a cushion on the panel to detect the user's heartbeat, body temperature and other information. If the cushion is not inserted properly, the panel may fail. The cushion must be inserted in time.

2. Key problems: the specific reasons take different solutions to ensure that the key works normally.

(1) Key damage failure: In long-term use, the treadmill touch keys may be damaged. If the key is damaged, it may cause the key to malfunction or not work properly. If the key is damaged, replace it with a new one.

(2) High humidity leads to short circuit failure of the key: When the treadmill is in a humid environment, touching the key is easy to fail. This is because the humid air may cause a small current short circuit, which interferes with the normal operation of the circuit. If the humidity is too high, you need to put the treadmill in a dry place.

(3) Poor connection and circuit board problems lead to key failure: the touch button on the treadmill needs to be connected to the circuit board to work normally. If the connection is poor, or there is a problem with the circuit board itself, it may cause the key to fail.

(4) The safety lock falls off and is not put in place: Reinstall the safety lock.

3. Connection problem: Take different solutions for specific reasons to ensure that the circuit board is properly connected.

(1) touch screen capacitor damage, use time is too long and failure: treadmill panel usually uses capacitive touch screen, if the capacitor damage or use time is too long, it will also lead to panel failure. To resolve this problem, you need to replace the touch screen.

(2) touch screen connection failure: The treadmill screen may also be controlled by the touch screen, if the touch screen connection failure, it may cause the information on the screen can not be recognized by the touch screen. When you encounter this problem, you need to take different actions based on the cause.

A.There is dirt on the touch screen, causing the normal touch. You can use detergent and a clean towel or cotton cloth to clean the touch screen. Do not use a wet towel or cotton cloth when cleaning, lest water may enter the screen and cause problems. If the cleaning method is not proper, it may lead to more dirt and scratches on the screen.
 B.The cable connecting the touch screen is loose or aging, causing unstable signals or abnormal transmission. You need to reconnect the touch screen. This method requires you to remove the treadmill console housing, then reconnect the wiring and reassemble the console and treadmill, which usually solves the problem of touch screen failure.

 C.The gravity shift caused by the level adjustment of the treadmill causes the touch screen to be unable to feel the finger operation normally. The level needs to be re-adjusted with the help of the treadmill adjustment function, which can avoid the problem of not being able to properly sense the finger operation when touching the screen. 

 D.The touch screen fails due to software faults or viruses. Reinstall or replace the software. Before reinstalling, it is recommended to reset the inside of the treadmill to factory Settings and back up important data.

(3) There is a problem with the display chip: the information on the treadmill screen is controlled by the display chip, and if there is a problem with the display chip, the screen may not be able to display data. To resolve this problem, you need to replace the display chip.

4. System problem, restart the treadmill, if still can not solve the problem, find professional technicians to repair.

(1) If there is a problem with the control system, restart the treadmill: sometimes there may be problems with the control system of the treadmill. If there is an error or other problem with the system program, it may cause the touch key to malfunction or not work properly. Restarting the treadmill can solve these problems. First turn off the power supply of the running machine, and unplug the power cable, wait for about 2 minutes, and then reconnect the power cable, and turn on the power supply of the running machine to restart, and see whether the touch screen board of the display screen can be restored to normal use. With luck, this might solve your problem.

(2) If it still cannot be solved, it is necessary to find professional and technical personnel to repair. If your treadmill is still under warranty, you can contact after-sales service for advice on repairing or replacing the device. If your treadmill is out of warranty, you can choose to take it to a professional repair shop for repair. This may cost some money, but it can solve the problem for you.

5. The treadmill itself has problems such as motherboard damage and garbled display, and the panel and display need to be replaced.
6.  Treadmill common fault code: refer to the cause of the fault for processing.

E01 speed signal is lost, check whether the induction line is installed, and whether the gap between the magnet and the magnet is within 3-5MM.

E02 overvoltage protection, the load is too large, the motor input voltage is too high, turn off the power and restart.

E03 overcurrent protection for more than 5 seconds, motor input current more than 15A, to protect the motor and the controller set protection, turn off the power, restart.

Open the E04 motor, confirm whether the motor power supply is correct, whether the communication line is connected and confirm whether it is correct.

E06 communication error, check whether the column is properly connected, reconnect and insert.

E07 safety lock off. Reinstall safety lock.

E09 Lift correction error, check whether the lift motor is connected, and ensure correct, recalibration can be done.

EOP speed correction error, enter the engineering correction mode, confirm whether the wheel diameter is correct, recalibration can be done, such as the motor has abnormal sound, or the speed of 1KM, whether the treadmill has strength, adjust the controller torque value to the appropriate number.
