3.LCD display: liquid crystal display. Its advantages are small size, low power consumption, no radiation, and no heat. In the mid-1990s, the advent of color TFT technology overcame the shortcomings of monochrome LCDs such as low brightness and small viewing angles, and the color display is pleasing to the eye and intuitive. , so it soon became widely used. At present, mainstream monitors at home and abroad all use LCD displays.

4.EL display: Before the emergence of TFT displays, EL displays were once used in high-end monitors. In addition to the advantages of LCD, they also have the advantages of high brightness and wide viewing angle. The disadvantage is that the cost is high. Therefore, with the development of TFT displays, the application of EL displays in the field of monitoring is gradually being replaced by TFT displays.
